Hyderabad Entrepreneurs Camp
One week Hyderabad Entrepreneurs Camp was organized by Isra Entrepreneurial Society at Isra University, Hyderabad Sindh. The event inaugurated on 9th November, 2015. The main aim of the event was to target youngsters of Hyderabad region to provide them opportunity of development and nurturing entrepreneurship skills. It includes: Awareness, training, guidance, mentorship and enhance their capacity to link their practical skills in commercialization along with an initial funding opportunity for winners. Many teams from all over Hyderabad and surround participated in the camp & presence of senior faculty members graced the inauguration ceremony.
Event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Hameedullah Kazi Pro Vice Chancellor, Isra University Hyderabad. He welcomed all the participants and appreciated their presence. He discussed the objectives of the camp and highlighted its significance with the reference to youth & society. He stressed on the efforts of the Isra University for creating opportunities for young Entrepreneurs and highlighted the role of these opportunities in the context of practical outreach to business skills. He encouraged students to be the job creator instead of job seeker. He expressed his hopes and wishes for the event.
Afterwards, Dr. Qamarudin Mahar Chairperson Department of Management Sciences, appreciated all the participants by highlighting the importance of availing this opportunity. He encouraged participants to take maximum advantage of present opportunities and make best of them. He further appreciated to partners who helped to materialise this event. He wished best for the team and the event.
Furthermore, Ms. Paras Zulfiqar Program lead, Recipient of the grant and Deputy Director of Isra Centre for Entrepreneurs, congratulated to participants and formally welcomed all. She briefed about the program details and its expected outcomes. She was being thankful to the management of Isra University for providing the best infrastructure & resource support for the event. She also expressed the huge vote of thanks to the Pakistan USA Alumni Network (PUAN) and United states education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) for their major funding support to implement this project. She also warm upped the opening session with the short video play of the story behind this event.
Session one formally took place, it was conducted by Ms. Humaira Jabeen, Senior Lecturer, US Alumni & Faculty In charge at Isra Entrepreneurial Society. Session was based on Budgeting and Accounting. Her session was based on interactive sessions and group work activities which went very informative & served the objectives of the Camp.
Furthermore Mr. Riaz Ahmad Shaikh Co-Patron Isra Entrepreneurial Society, conducted his parallel session of motivation and leadership to boost the confidence of the participants.
